These three images are a guest apartment. The living room walls are finished with a venitian plaster that has been sanded and has a pearl glaze topcoat. The ceiling is a mixture of off-white, pearl glaze and gold metallic. The living room niche is painted with the same pattern as the bedroom.
The bedroom walls have a base coat of blue/gray egshel enamel and five shades of metallic gold as an accent. The bedroom ceiling is painted with a lighter shade of blue than the walls and washed with metallic gold.
These pictures show before & after of drywall that I removed due to water damage. I removed the damaged wallboard; installed new wallboard; taped & mudded the joints; matched the existing texture and matched the existing faux paint.
This is a sign I painted on the exterior of an office. I fabricated the template, sprayed a rough pattern and completed the layout with small artist brushes.
The wall has been treated with venitian plaster and then the painted transum design over the window was added. The wall was sanded and selectively painted to give it a distressed, aged look. A top coat of a clear sealer tinted to highlight the venitian plaster was the final application. The window valance has been coated with a mixture of plaster & tile grout to resemble stucco and then painted. Tile is exterior roof tile that has been cut to make it smaller and applied to the top of the valance.
I painted a cloud scene on this barrel ceiling . I painted the gold metallic band around the mirror above the fireplace to match the gold metallic bands that I painted on the walls .
The columns in the entrance foyer were painted in alternating marble patterns to accent the archetectural elements of the columns . A pearlized paint gave the surface a polished look .
The fireplace mantle is made from polystyrene . It origionally had a textured surface similar to the column below the mantle . I applied a plaster coating and painted the mantle to resemble stone . The walls behind the mantle are coated with a venitian plaster
